As 2012 looms ever closer, there seems to be a multitude of factors which point to great changes on the horizon for mankind. The Singularity, the New Age, the New World Order, ancient prophecies and predictions – it seems that we are witnessing the culmination of a Global Paradigm Shift. Whether these changes are inextricably linked to 2012, or simply coincidence is a matter of personal conjecture.
In accordance to the Novelty Theory devised by Terrence McKenna; there are a whole host of events which are increasing at an accelerating rate. Technology, population, speed of travel, food and materials production, communications capabilities, computing power, the decrease in computer size, amount of information known to humanity, and a plethora of other things, are all increasing at an accelerating rate. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Alex Jones, he is a paleoconservative who is considered by many to be the grandfather of what has come to be known as the 9/11 Truth Movement, as well as a major force which helped expose the police state, the New World Order – NWO, and government sponsored terrorism.

Will the Hadron Collider discover the God Particle (Higgs Boson) and give us a more thorough understanding of gravity? The Hadron Collider will be switched on in May 2008.
First we must ask – What is gravity and why is it so weak? – The weakest of the four elemental forces of the Universe. Could other Universes (branes) or extra dimensions affect the gravitational waves, which would explain its weakness?
Are we really stuck in a 3D Universe! If there more than 3 dimensions, could this explain why gravity is so weak? Quantum mechanics and the Hadron Collider certainly think so. Read more…

Today I asked my 8 year old nephew, Callum; what is the meaning of life? A heavy question to ask one so young, however it is a great exercise in helping create an abstract mind in one so young and to help expand a child’s horizons for critical thinking and increase their boundaries for logical cognitive reasoning and ultimately master the eloquent art of debating.
The reply I received from Callum was as eloquent as the question posed. He told me that the meaning of life is ‘to please God’, an obvious answer for a child attending a Catholic school I guess. I wonder what the response would be to such a profound question from a child who was taught all the doctrines of religion; Buddhism, Catholicism, polytheism, atheism, and indeed paganism to name but a few.
