The Power of Words

A powerful and moving video which shows how much weight words carry and the way in which a few simple words can help change people’s way of thinking… for the better.

Rather than love, money, faith, or fame, just give me truth.

Wow, this video is truly inspiring. Thank you for the post!

However, nowadays such power of words is used mainly for profit. In fact, so much so that even when one sees a nicely worded call for help it’s hard to tell if it’s actually genuine. Fraudsters know this extremely well.

Of course, there’s always hope that it’s gonna change. And such examples as the one in this post give lots and lots of hope. Thanks.

I’ll admit I had to fight back the man-tears. It’s a great video; simple, short, yet profound.

“power of words is used mainly for profit” – I guess so, such is life and the fiat currency we have all been cajoled into living… from birth. It’s an acquired skill being able to discern the wheat from the chaff when it comes to genuine ‘not money grabbing’ videos and messages of this type.

I totally agree with your statements about fraudsters and hope. I guess the bottom line is, we must make sure we don’t sink to the same levels as these corporate regimes who’s only agenda is ‘for profit’.

That is a very touching video;the thoughtful girl that changed the words gave more than all the rest;let a thousand criminals be let off to save one innocent person;it is not for us to discern the wheat from the chaff, give as much as you can,to as many as you can for as long as you can.

Wise words you speak of. I guess giving unconditionally is all we can do in this mad bad world.

Just a shame some of us have nothing to give.

It’s really encouraging and inspiring. Thank you. There’s something else that is equally important. And, the power of the thinking:) It’s one of the most important things a person has. But it must be a subject for another post.

Hi Jo. Would you like me to write an article on critical thinking?
The power of thinking is certainly something which we seem to have lost during our generation. The dumbed down society is certainly prevalent in today’s world… through no fault of the people by the way.
Let me know if you’d like me to write an article as mentioned, and I will make it so.
