Could Zero Point Energy (ZPE) be the fuel source of tomorrow? Is our insatiable appetite for oil based products finally coming to an end? Are we really on the cusp of a new era in science and technology?
So what is the “Zero-point energy (ZPE) field?”. Other names for this energy field include Dark Matter and Dark Energy. These galactic forces occupy some 96% of our know Universe. Zero-Point Energy is formless, yet it is the source of everything.
The physics definition for Zero-Point Energy states that zero-point energy is the lowest possible energy that a quantum mechanical physical system may possess and is the energy of the ground state of the system.
The Casimir effect has established zero point energy as an uncontroversial and scientifically accepted phenomenon.
ZPE just happens to be the biggest sea of energy that is known to exist in the Universe and we’re floating right inside it.
Zero Point Energy has been likened to the equivalent of dipping a teaspoon into an ocean, that one teaspoon would have enough energy to provide the whole world with all its energy needs. This limitless reservoir of energy around us is of far greater magnitude than we could ever dream of.
Zero-point energy as an energy resource, and a couple of patents regarding technology on how to access it. These kind of systems are often, and inaccurately, named “Free energy” or “Over unity” devices. They do not create energy out of thin air, rather they tap the energy in the Zero-point energy field. What this means is that we can (and already have) create devices which output more energy than what keeps them running. This is all in accordance to the laws of thermodynamics, since the “excess” energy comes from the ZPE field.
So what does all this mean, is it a solution for the planet’s current energy crisis, and will ZPE enable us to further advance our global society. Is ‘free energy’ really a viable solution? Are we, as a race, ready for such major changes?
When Nikola Tesla invented the wireless telecommunications aerial tower which demonstrated commercial wireless trans-Atlantic telephony in 1901, his main financier of the time JP Morgan simply retorted to Tesla “Where can I put the meter?”.
The irony that free wireless electricity was invented over 100 years ago and then suppressed, brushed under the carpet for the simple fact that its investors realised they couldn’t charge customers just goes to show how greed, power and control holds more inherent values than altruism, compassion and bettering humanity by bringing to fruition concepts such as ‘free energy’.
Possible applications for Zero Point Energy include: -
Frictionless micro-machines with moving parts.
Understanding and controlling inertia. (Possibility of superluminal - faster than light space travel).
Levitation of objects (Link)
Power interplanetary craft. History was made on 31st March 1996 when for the first time ever, ZPE was the subject of a U. S. patent (#5,590,031). See Dr. Frank Mead for more info.
Several projects are dedicated to creating devices which tap the ZPE field, including the iconic Dr Steven Greer and his collective - The Orion Project (link).

What are your thoughts on Zero-Point Energy? Is it a suppressed technology? Why are billions of dollars being wasted on solar wind farms, oil exploration (in Alaska of all places courtesy of the Bush regime). Surely there must be government run programs, exclude DARPA - The Defence Advanced Research Projects Agency for the US Dept. of Defence
Such programs could explore the viability of Zero-Point Energy as a sustainable and free energy source for tomorrow’s generation?
Your thoughts are most welcome.

And did you know that Nikola Tesla died a poor man, designated as crazy, all for his
unfailing belief that everyone should receive “free electricity!”

Couldn’t have put it better myself Linda.
Tesla was a great man who didn’t receive the accolade of being one of the greatest pioneers of all mankind.
At least he died trying I guess, that is worth its weight in gold in itself.
It is easier to mock those that are different than it is to understand them.

I didn’t knew it as Zero Point Energy, but I have heard about it under the name of Dark Energy or Dark Matter. This is certainly very interesting, I think this is the best energy we can find in the universe because as you say, about 96% of the matter is unknown, composed by this kind of energy. To travel to other planets is obvious that we need to explore and learn how to use this energy. To travel to Mars, may be we could use nuclear energy, but it’s too dangerous.
In the future, I think that we will need to learn how to manipulate this energy to reach goals never dreamt before.
