How did ‘Global Warming‘ become such a huge and widely accepted scam?
» Could Al Gore the whore be the main culprit, was it part of his campaign in the run-up towards trying to become the next president of the United States!
» Perhaps the ‘global warming’ campaign began it’s life when the UN was presented with a hockey stick graph by Michael Mann et al in 2001.
» Or maybe the discussion on man-made global warming was made popular by Al Gore’s film, ‘An Inconvenient Truth’.
Al Gore bases his whole argument of global warming on one all important piece of evidence taken from ice-core surveys, where scientists drill deep into the ice to look back into Earth’s climate history. The first findings of the drill expedition in Vostock revealed as Al Gore correctly points out is the clear correlation between carbon dioxide and temperature. However his correlation is topsy-turvy to say the least.
The problem lies in the fact that Gore’s assumption that CO2 and temperature rises are linked is in fact the wrong way round.
There have been several major ice-core surveys and every one of them shows the same thing: –
As temperatures rise or fall, and then after a few hundred years carbon dioxide follows.
In other words, carbon dioxide is NOT the cause of global warming. It is global warming which increases the levels of carbon dioxide. CO2 changes merely follow or lag after temperature changes have already occurred.
This now begs the question…
‘How do higher temperatures lead to more CO2 in the atmosphere?’
In order to answer the question we must first understand that CO2 is a natural gas and it’s produced in all living things. Of all the living things here on Earth, the largest producer of CO2 into the atmosphere is not done by humans, not even industry, cars, or planes. In fact the largest producers of CO2 comes from the oceans. Other big players in the contribution of CO2 include volcanoes, animals, dying vegetation, and bacteria. Animals and bacteria alone produce some 150Gigatonnes of CO2 each year compared to a mere 6.5Gigatonnes produced from humans.
All global warming models assume that man-made CO2 is the main cause of climate change rather than the sun or the clouds.
As stated, the largest producer of CO2 is from the oceans. The more they warm up the more they produce CO2. Conversely, the cooler they are, the more they suck in. But why is there a time lag of hundreds of years between the change in temperature and the change in the amount of carbon dioxide going into or out of the sea?
The reasons is that oceans are so big and so deep they take literally hundreds of years to warm up and cool down. The current warming trend started way before people had cars or even lights. In the past 150 years the world’s temperature has risen just over half a degree Celsius, but most of that rise occurred before 1940. Between 1940 and 1975 the temperature actually dropped.
If CO2 doesn’t drive the Earth’s climate. What does?
The answer is simple: – The Sun. To be more exact there is close correlation between what the sun was doing and changes in temperature on Earth. In fact solar activity (sun spot cycles) rose sharply to 1940 and fell back until the 1970′s.
We are in a sense inside the Sun’s atmosphere. The intensity of the Sun’s magnetic field more than doubled during the 20th century.
Global warming is happening on Mars and Pluto as well. Since there are no SUVs on Mars, CO2 can’t be causing global warming.
Believing that human activities can change the weather is like believing that the earth is the centre of the universe. Perhaps such topics such as global warming have been rammed down our throats in order to make the burden of carbon taxes more palatable when they are eventually forced upon us.

I learned many years ago that the current warming cycle began way before the industrial revolution, and recently that other sources of CO2 far far outweighed the man-made stuff. People at the top know well enough that dodgy science need not be a reason to slow up a campaign they have set their heart on. The great general public can be sold anything, and thank god for that!
Lets suppose that cheap oil is running out in the West, and being discovered in the East. This is a pathetic simplification, but lets argue that the East is eager to be the new West, and to be fired by Islam and not Secular Christianity. This is a big deal for the West.
The West therefore has to motivate the voting public to accept a reason for reducing dependency on oil, paying more for energy, cutting back.
Climate change caused by the release of CO2 and other greenhouse gases is the simple enemy. An enemy that cannot be nuked into submission. The enemy that is going to submerge our coastal towns and villages, bring malarial mosquitoes to the frozen north, etc. etc.
Suddenly floods in places no-one had heard of last year are going to be headline news. Climate change is going to happen – it has NEVER stopped happening, but now WE are causing it – and it has to stop!
So is the climate-change scare a conspiracy? Maybe it is. Does that make it bad in this particular case? Wars to secure oil supplies have proved most unpopular with the goody goody general public (irony) all over the place.
I can remember when our house in rural Devon had black-lined curtains so that if if a German bomber went over it would not see the light from our oil lamps. I believe people used the London underground as bomb shelters, and sang songs in defiance of a determined enemy. The new enemy is oil dependency, but global warming/climate change will be more visible to the people who have to cut back.

Me again, sorry. I was so deafened by the sound of my own tiny voice in this theme I forgot to scream at the headline proposition above which is a piece of the worst bull’s fart (an oft forgotten greenhouse gas) that I have ever heard.
Global warming is occurring – it WILL lead to climate change – it is NOT a conspiracy. Send the mischievous idiots who say it is to planet Venus where carbon dioxide clouds trap the heat that passes through from the sun, and cannot get out again. Here you can cook eggs directly on the rocks. This is the greenhouse effect. it doesn’t need to be so bad here to cause catastrophic effects LOCALLY while average temperatures rise slightly.

Regardless of whether our wasteful ways are leading to global warming, I still think it is better to live a cleaner and healthier lifestyle than continue to use horrible energy sources like oil and coal. Not only have they degraded our air quality, but there is such an influx in price all the time that it is frustrating. My allergies get worse each year and I can almost say with certainty that it is caused by the poor air quality in my area.

Obviously this is a joke right? There is so much evidence for climate change — or what you call global warming — that it’s not even remotely funny. Evidence, as in facts, as in scientific measurements. Have you not been reading it? It’s everywhere. Reputable scientists are making reports on climate change every week, literally. The EPA is about to declare CO2 a pollutant that endangers human life and then we are going to cap emissions. Poor air quality is causing asthma, cancer, autism. This is not a joke and it’s far too serious a subject that threatens all life on the planet for you to make ignorant claims as to how you feel it’s not real. Unless you are a climate scientist, kindly shut the frak up about something you don’t know anything about.
Of course the sun is doing the warming. THe greenhouse gasses are trapping the heat as never before. Do some reading on this subject, you know NOTHING about it.

This kind of post is irresponsible and ridiculous. There is more than enough evidence for global warming and there is a consensus — a strong one — among climate scientists. There is only a 4 year window of opportunity to get carbon emissions under control and this type of anti-science claim isn’t helping. I suggest getting your facts straight or at least attempting to back up what you say with some science. Dear Sol, I think Shelly Thomas’s argument is strong. Even if your conspiracy theory is right, we have NO time to think on that line. For now the greenhouse gas problem is real and WE MUST NOT ENCOURAGE denial. The right thing to do now is STOP GLOBAL WARMING ANYHOW. This is EMERGENCY. We CAN’T TAKE ANY CHANCE, If we do, then nature will step up to balance things and we know mother nature acts blind when she is angry. May be this is the beginning of the end of recent past exponential human population growth which can not be sustainable forever.
This is also a matter of pain and gain. Unless the pain becomes greater than gain, we are not willing to cooperate. We all know how “UNECONOMICAL” and “HAZARDOUS” is the practice of raising animals for meat is but if we eat them, we are not willing to accept the argument. Same is for SUVs, Fossil fuels, Coal generated power and numerous other things. As long as we don’t face direct threat, we WANT TO DENY the facts. BUT, we need to ACT instead of DENYING the fact.
I have one more thought, I think this global depression is just an act by natural forces to reduce consumption of unnecessary goods. We should better take this opportunity and PRACTICE AUSTERITY, at least for some time. For past 30 years we have been consuming like there is no tomorrow and this had to stop, so it is going to.

Regarding the debate on global warming. Nobody, not even the leading scientific community can confirm nor deny what impact global warming is really having on our planet. One could even call it global dimming, not warming.
@Shelly regarding your terse tongue, and your bombastic tone, I’m sorry if my opinion doesn’t concur with yours. Perhaps you should learn to be write in a less vitriolic manner.
@Harish. Hi bud. You stated ‘The right thing to do now is STOP GLOBAL WARMING’ – how do you propose we do this? We are consumers, we have little or no say in how manufacturers, mining, and industry help ease the burden on producing CO2 gases. We have adverts in the UK telling the masses to turn their mobile phone chargers of when not in use. Plueaze – what f*&^ing difference will that make.
Then we have the good old US of A and the Bush regime who couldn’t even spell the Kyoto protocol, never mind take heed and action some reduction in greenhouse gases.
If global warming is real, then it’s up to our governments to take the lead, and drive the economy towards a more greener future….
But of course this will never happen, and why…
Governments are corrupt, money is everything, and the oil oligarchs own the governments.
So we, the people, continue doing our bit, and it is just that, a bit. Perhaps one day, the world will see viable alternative energy sources such as heliostats, hydrogen, and ZPE come to fruition. But only once a valid business model has been created, where the fat cats can milk the masses dry.

Dear Sol,
Let me clear things up. What I mean is following:
* Global Warming is a fact. We are definitely witnessing a lot of changes already.
* Greenhouse gases are one of the causes.
* CO2 , as you say, may not be the cause but the effect, I still say your point is valid and
worth paying attention.
Now, what I mean to say is even if the scientists that have proven CO2 as heat trapping agent and being the cause of global warming are wrong; even if all this is a scam, WE CAN NOT AFFORD TO TAKE IT LIGHTLY. EVEN IF THERE IS A 1% PROBABILITY OF THIS BEING TRUE, WE CAN NOT AFFORD TO DENY IT. WE DON’T HAVE MUCH TIME LEFT.
So, my argument is – we can think about all this denial logic but NOT NOW. We should better DO SOMETHING NOW.
As for the govts, lobbies etc, I think you are absolutely on the point. I know the crude capitalist lobby WILL NOT LET OTHER GREEN SOURCES OF ENERGY TO RISE SO EASILY. I know we humble people are those whose lives are being played with by the INTERESTED STAKEHOLDERS. I know we alone can’t change the fate. BUT, whatever we can do is we should do. Awareness is first and foremost thing and we should make EVERY EFFORT TO SPREAD AWARENESS.
Thus, what I mean is, for sometime, we should just let all the denying thing give a pass and DO OUR BIT. Following are some PROACTIVE ACTIONS we can do:
* We should IMMEDIATELY STOP EATING MEAT and ANIMAL products.
* We should laugh at and make fun of those who raise animals for meat etc.
* We should laugh and make fun of those who use SUVs or cars unnecessarily (remember, necessary means necessary)
* We should see all those who contribute to these and other factors WITH CONTEMPT. WE HAVE TO CHANGE CULTURE AND WE CAN DO IT.
Now, to SHELLY (and all those who care for the cause) :
Are you vegetarian?
Do you go on LONG DRIVES in your car (any car) for fun?
Do you use AC or heating even if the temperature is ‘not-so-up-or-down’?
If your answer is yes for any of the above questions, then you are a mere alarmist. I am sure your answer is NO, a strict NO.

I love your approach to raising awareness for apparent GW. Very direct and in your face, just as it should be. Laugh and mock the gas guzzlers – spot on.
Once again, if I were in government, I would make it my duty to look after the planet, after all it is the one single common thing we all have to share. So yes, let’s look after it.
However, governments should be leading by example and paving the way forward, for a brighter, greener future, instead of accepting back-handers from corpocracies and plutocrats.
Unfortunately, we live in a sheeple, dumbed down society, therefore educating the masses is a nigh on impossible task.
We vote people into power, it should therefore be the perogative of these people in power to change the world’s energy crisis and apparent global warming issues.
People are happy to drive around in their gas guzzlers, eat crap, and watch even more crap on TV. Welcome to Idiocracy – great film check it out.

This is an interesting debate without enough hard evidence one way or another for it to be really considered real or a scam, but my feelings are that global warming has been blown way out of proportion. Maybe the real scam is to stop developing nations progress so the US can keep it’s global dominance?

What people tend to be neglecting is that all of the planets seem to be exhibiting similar temperature changes in part due to the changing nature of the sun as we approach the elliptic of the Milky Way.

I’ve seen this argument rage back and forth across the internet. To be fair I think both sides have a valid point. Yes pumping billions of tonnes worth of gases, not just CO2, is probably doing strange things to the atmosphere, not to mention the ecology of earth. But I also tend to believe that the sun is probably the biggest contributor to temperature differentiation.
Still I don’t agree with this statement “Believing that human activities can change the weather is like believing that the earth is the centre of the universe.” Setting off 10nukes in one place would create nuclear winter and probably shift weather patterns if placed. The statement is too dismissive, I’m sure we could mess with it if we wanted to, we split the atom and spliced the gene, went to the moon – if we want to get into screwing with weather patterns we will.

Global warming exists that it is a fact, but it did not cause by people, this process began about twenty thousand years. Crime of humans is that thay dramatically accelerated this process, and animals do not have time to adjust.

“why does it matter if our species survives anyway?” – good question. The fact that mankind kills each another… sometimes for fun makes me think we deserve to be saved. I hope and pray we will can transcend and evolve past this greed, killing, control stage of our evolution.

The Anatomy of Earth, and Global Warming Conspiracy
July 3, 1983
The real reason for global warming is the earth’s orbit around the sun is slowly decaying, and the earth elliptical orbit around the sun is shrinking. People take the earth’s magnetic field for granted, because it’s invisible, and silent, but the earth’s magnetic field keeps the earth at a safe distance from the sun, and the moon. The high temperature in the earth’s core (the earth’s engine) generates earth’s magnetic, and gravitational fields. The earth’s fuel system is referred to as crude oil, and natural gas wells. They are actually self pressurizing fuel cells, and crude oil, and natural gas are the earth’s fuel. The oil company’s crude oil extraction process compromises the earth’s fuel system, and shut off fuel to the earth’s outer core, by releasing pressure out of these oil, and gas wells. Under normal conditions the outer core stays at a constant temperature between 5000 to 7000 degrees celsius, and the pressure in the outer core, lower mantle, and in oil wells stays at tens of thousands of pounds per square inch. The pressure in an oil well forces the oil, and natural gas into the outer core, and is ignited long before it reaches the outer core, and enters the lower mantle, and outer core as flames, and heat.
The earth’s core is being fuel starved, and the core is slowly cooling. As the core cools the earth’s magnetic field will weakens, and the earth will be pulled closer to the sun. The high temperature in the earth’s core is not sustained by decaying nuclear material, or by a dynamo process. The radiation would escape during volcanic eruptions. No radiation has ever been detected during, or after a volcanic episode. Only crude oil, and natural gas by-products, such as the great pressures, carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, and carbon monoxide gases, etc. The materials, and gases ejected from volcanoes originate from the lower mantle, and outer core region of the planet. Reference: Kenneth A. McGee, and Terrence M. Gerlach 1995/ Volcanic Gas: USGS Open files report -95-85, 2p.
The only way to reverse global warming is for the oil companies to re-pressurize the earth’s fuel systems. One way this can be accomplished is by igniting the methane gas in the fuel system. The ignited gas will expand, and create the pressure need to force the remaining crude oil, and natural gas into the outer core, and it will take many decades to reheat the core to normal temperatures. Crude oil, and methane gas was not created to fuel our industries, or automobiles. It was created to fuel this planet. Crude oil is the life blood of this planet.
Global warming has nothing to do with a hole in the ozone, Co2 gases, methane gases, or the green house effect. Tens of thousands of scientist believe the green house gas theory is false, this should be a cause for an alarm. Something is going wrong with the earth’s orbit. The events below are not separate events they are all part of earth’s orbital decay. The events below were reported by NASA/ Goddard Space Flight Center, USGS, and the American Astronomical Society, etc.
1. The earth is moving away from the moon.
2. The rotation of the earth is slowing down.
3. The earth is shifting on its axis.
4. Twelve o’clock noon use to be the hot part of the day, now three o’clock is the hottest part of the day.
5. The earth is wobbling on it axis.
6. The earth is developing a breach in its magnetic field.
7. Both polar ice caps are being melted, one at a time, during each polar ice cap’s summer season, and the oceans are rising.
The sun is millions of times larger, than the earth. As the earth moves closer to the sun, its radiance will continue to spread, and began to warm areas of the planet that are in their winter season. Areas near the equator will be affected first. Areas near latitudes 29 degrees north, and south will experience higher, than normal temperature during the winter seasons, and it will began to get cold later in the season in these regions. These regions are where global warming should be monitored, first. As the earth moves closer to the sun its radiance will spread toward both hemisphere’s polar ice caps, starting from the equator, during the winter season. In the future there will be no more winters, because the sun’s radiance will eventually spread, and covered both hemispheres simultaneously, while the hemisphere that’s in its summer season will experience extreme high temperatures. It’s December 16, 2010 the sun is over the southern hemisphere. Houston, Texas is in the northern hemisphere, and the winters days are getting sunnier, and warmer, and the cold weather is setting in later into the season. What is occurring in Houston, Texas will manifest in the rest of the world, in the future. Areas above latitude 29 degrees north, and south are now experiencing winter tornadoes, this is highly unusual. It should be too cold for the development of tornadoes, during the winter months. I have a few questions to ask of your green house gas theorists
1. What does sunny, and/ or warm winter days have to do with green house gases? There shouldn’t be enough radiance from the sun for any green house gases to trap, during the winter months.
2. Why on a hot day is the sun radiance higher, than the ambient temperature? The green house gas effect is suppose to causes the ambient temperature (the air around us) to be higher, than the sun radiance, but if you stand under a shade tree the ambient temperature drops, move from under the shade tree into the sun’s radiance the temperature rises. In an actual green house the ambient temperature is higher, than the sun’s radiance shining into the green house. This proves green house gases are not the cause for global warming.
3. Why in the early 20th century, during the industrial revolution in America, and Europe, wasn’t there a recorded spike in temperature? The north east region of America was referred to as the rust belt. This region was heavily industrialized, and heavily saturated with Co2, and methane gases. There were high numbers of respiratory cases, and stick smog, but there was no spike in temperature in America, or Europe. In the early 20th scientists believed the earth was headed toward another ice age, due to the harsh winter weather, and below normal temperatures in summer. Global warming wasn’t an issue, until the latter part of the 20th century, in spite of all the air pollution in the early 20th century, why?
4. Television, radio, or news paper weather reports never mention the temperature of the sun’s radiance? Generally the temperature of the sun’s radiance is higher, than the ambient temperature, and the temperature of the ocean. Meteorologists, and green house gas theorist blame high pressure, el-nino, the air flow off the Gulf of Mexico for hot weather, these are al, just peripheral conditions. They blame hot weather on everything, but the main cause, and that’s the increasing temperature of sun’s radiance. Notice they don’t even try to differentiate between temperature of the sun’s radiance, and the ambient temperature. It’s the sun’s radiance that heats the oceans, heat the surface of this planet, raises the ambient temperature, and it will the sun’s radiance that will be responsible for ending all life on this planet. They still treat the sun, and its radiance as if it doesn’t exist, and the sun play a major roll in our weather.
5. The E.P.A was established in December 2, 1970 to address the worsening air pollution, and the high number of respiratory cases, due to the illegal dumping of harmful chemicals in the air, underground, and in water ways. These harmful chemical were released by chemical companies, refineries, and steel mills. The E.P.A wasn’t established to address global warming. Global warming wasn’t an issue, until the mid 1990’s, in spite of all the air pollution, before the 1970’s, why?
As the green house gas theorists answer these questions, you will notice they will add
explanations other, than a hole in the ozone, Co2 gases, methane gases, or the green house gas effect for the causes of global warming. They will use highly technical terms to confuse you, but if you investigate their claims you will find it makes no sense, and they never mention the temperature of the sun’s radiance. It’s the sun’s radiance that’s responsible for global warming. Move closer to the sun, it gets hotter, move away from the sun it will get colder, and it’s that simple. I been told it’s not the sun’s radiance that’s causing global warming, because the light from the sun has not intensified. That may be true, but I know the radiance from the sun is intensifying.

There’s a sharp difference of opinion among scientists about global warming and the risks it may pose. A few scientists say scenarios of rapid climate change are unwarranted. But others are worried that rising levels of carbon dioxide could trigger a sharp and painful change in the Earth’s climate.
