How do you blog? This is a question I always wonder when conducting my daily blogging adventures. With the millions of blogs out there, blogging can become quite a bewildering exercise at times. Questions I find myself asking include; How should I blog?, What are the best methods, practices, and resources to adopt?

Then I think about the monetary aspects of blogging, The questions; “How do I make money blogging“. What affiliation programs do other bloggers use?, why are they so successful, and how are the they so successful? These are questions I ask myself all the time. Do you ask such questions to yourself?

Perhaps, pictures of beautiful ladies is enough to draw readers in and gain traffic! Many bloggers seem to do this, so hey, if you can’t beat ‘em, may as well join ‘em. Hence the lovely Nicole Kidman

Only by sharing our experiences and thoughts can we get a better understanding on how to become a better and more successful blogger.

Too often , approx 3-4 hours daily researching, reading, SMO, SEO, designing and writing posts.

- Do I do much SMO? – Social Marketing Optimization

I try, SMO includes blogcatalog – adding friends, joining in discussions, replying to all shouts. Entrecard – reply to all drops in inbox, advertise on 2-3 blogs a day. I also visit blogs and leave comments, especially on dofollow sites. This helps with page impressions, which ultimately leads to a higher Page Rank.

- What affiliation programs work for me?

Rel=”nofollow” removed. Leave comments and get rewarded with a better Page Rank – PR

By default, wordpress automatically adds nofollow into all links added in a wordpress blog. The reason for this is to stop spammers having their wicked way and pulling in loads of traffic from your blog. But why have the nofollow in every link if the comments are moderated???

The simple answer is that if your blog is moderated, then there is simply no need for the rel=”nofollow” to be automatically inserted into every link. The tag was set up by Google as a way of mothering and controlling it’s humble servants – us, the bloggers.

To reward your readers who leave a comment on your blog, simply install the following plugin: -Do follow plugin which takes out the nofollow code in any links placed on my blog.

What does all this mean??? It means that whenever someone visits your blog, they will be credited in the form of increasing their Page Rank (PR), and all they did was take the time to write a comment on your blog. Power to the (little) people. So get commenting folks, and watch your page rank grow.
