What is Gravity? Will the Hadron Collider LHC discover the God Particle? Part 2

Part 2

Particles travel in extra dimensions, and with hopeful anticipation, LHC may be able to shed some light on the big question…Gravity bowl

We once thought we were at the centre of the Universe, and then we thought the Sun was. Eventually we realised we were just on the edge of billions of other galaxies. Soon we may have to accept that our 3rd dimension is just one of many multidimensional worlds.

We shouldn’t be asking the question; what happened at the point of the big bang, but Why did the big bang happen?

Finding the laws of evolution, Hawking’s Universe predicts that there was no beginning. Consider it like bubbles which float through the endless chasm of the Universe. Time begins when our universe begins. It came out of nothing and exists all on its own.

Our Universe is simply one of many 3D blobs floating through space. String theory suggests that giant sheets of space called membranes – or branes exist, in which 3D universes form on them. Matter in effect lives or is stuck on these branes. We (our Universe) are stuck on one of these branes.

Braneworlds or parallel Universes!

Post: Mysteries of the Universe – Strings, Branes and the Mysterious M

We are just one brane, maybe there are many other branes. Each brane corresponds to a Universe; occasionally these branes / Universes collide.

If a plethora of branes do exist, then they could occasionally clash, thus instantaneously creating a new Universe each time.

Branes could certainly explain why gravity is so weak.

Only time (in this Universe) will tell, the Hadron Collider will give a lot more answers to the burning questions we have about the origins of our Universe.
