Could Dec 21 2012 be the next Singularity!

As 2012 looms ever closer, there seems to be a multitude of factors which point to great changes on the horizon for mankind. The Singularity, the New Age, the New World Order, ancient prophecies and predictions – it seems that we are witnessing the culmination of a Global Paradigm Shift. Whether these changes are inextricably linked to 2012, or simply coincidence is a matter of personal conjecture.

Technology, population, speed of travel, food and materials production, communications capabilities, computing power, the decrease in computer size, amount of information known to humanity, and a plethora of other things, are all increasing at an accelerating rate.
